With a track record of over 10,000 intraocular and refractive laser surgeries, Dr. Johnston’s expertise encompasses LASIK, dry eye, corneal transplantation, surgical correction of astigmatism, and cataract surgery with multifocal lenses. He completed his medical education at Wayne State University School of Medicine, followed by residency training in Ophthalmology at Case Western Reserve University and a fellowship in Cornea and Refractive surgery at the University of Texas Southwestern. Dr. Johnston is not only dedicated to his surgical practice but also to humanitarian efforts, leading cataract missions to countries like Mexico, Guatemala, Panama, and Honduras to provide essential eye care to those in need.
