Dr. Ardalan Eddie Aminlari, M.D., is a fellowship-trained and Board-Certified Ophthalmologist specializing in the medical and surgical management of cataracts and glaucoma. He earned his medical degree from Penn State College of Medicine and completed advanced training in glaucoma treatment at the renowned Wills Eye Hospital, where he also served as a Clinical Instructor. Dr. Aminlari’s residency was completed at Penn State College of Medicine in Hershey, and his medical internship took place at Lehigh Valley Health Network. He has been recognized as one of San Diego’s top doctors by San Diego Magazine in multiple years and is the first in North County to offer the innovative Durysta procedure for glaucoma. With over 3,000 cataract cases performed at Morris Eye Group, Dr. Aminlari is an expert in his field. He is an active member of various professional organizations, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology, the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery, and the American Glaucoma Society. Fluent in Farsi and English and proficient in Spanish, Dr. Aminlari enjoys sports like tennis and basketball, as well as spending quality time with his family.
