A cataract occurs when the normally clear lens of the eye becomes cloudy, preventing light from passing through and focusing properly on the retina. Dr. Gang provides excellent clinical and surgical care for her patients with a wide variety of corneal conditions. She is a member of the Board of Directors of the Cornea Research Foundation of America.
Preparing to follow in his father’s footsteps, Dr. Brett Katzen obtained his undergraduate degree from University of Delaware, graduating magna cum laude in 1984. He received his medical degree from Jefferson Medical College in 1988 and completed his residency in ophthalmology at the University of Maryland School of Medicine. Brett officially joined the Katzen Eye Group in 1992, although he was a familiar sight at the practice long before then.
Dr. Aminlari was recognized as one of San Diego’s top doctor’s in 2019, 2021 and 2022 and has done over 3,000 cataract cases at Morris Eye Group in northern San Diego County.
Dr. Bui, a San Antonio native, is a board-certified ophthalmologist focusing on pediatric ophthalmology, neuro-ophthalmology, and the treatment of glaucoma and retina diseases.
