Dr. Iga N. Gray is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a specialization in glaucoma. She has been with Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) in San Diego since 2021. Prior to that, she worked at Philadelphia Eye Associates and was affiliated with Wills Eye Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania’s Scheie Eye Institute, where she completed her glaucoma fellowship and ophthalmology residency.

Dr. Iga N. Gray is a comprehensive ophthalmologist with a specialization in glaucoma. She has been with Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) in San Diego since 2021. Prior to that, she worked at Philadelphia Eye Associates and was affiliated with Wills Eye Hospital and the University of Pennsylvania’s Scheie Eye Institute, where she completed her glaucoma fellowship and ophthalmology residency.
Dr. Gray holds an MD and PhD in Neuroscience from Washington University in St. Louis School of Medicine. She also completed an MPhil in Pharmacology at the University of Cambridge and earned her BS in Biology, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University. Her research has been supported by the NIH/NINDS through the prestigious Ruth L. Kirschstein National Research Service Award (NRSA).
She is a member of several professional societies, including the American Academy of Ophthalmology. Dr. Gray remains active in teaching, mentoring residents and medical students, and has a passion for advancing glaucoma treatment and research. When she is not with her patients, Dr Gray enjoys staying active and exploring the outdoors with her family.
