Meet Dr. Jimmy K. Lee

Jimmy K. Lee MD is an international leader in innovative ocular surgeries. His expertise includes laser vision correction, cataract surgery to correct astigmatism and presbyopia, and corneal transplantation. As the former Director of the Cornea, Cataract, and Refractive Surgery Service at the Yale Eye Center, Dr. Lee was responsible for training generations of resident ophthalmologists, many of whom are now leaders in major academic centers. In addition to performing routine LASIK and Cataract surgeries, Dr. Lee is a consultant surgeon for other ophthalmologists throughout the country who send patients with complex ocular needs, such as those requiring:

He is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Johns Hopkins University. He obtained his medical degree from Cornell University Medical College. Following his residency at Albert Einstein Montefiore Hospital, he completed a fellowship in Cornea, External Diseases, and Refractive Surgery at the Wilmer Eye Institute of the Johns Hopkins Hospital.
