As clinical director of NVISION Newport Beach, Dr. Chen participates in providing pre- and post-operative care for the center’s laser refractive surgery patients and is responsible for developing and overseeing relationships with local optometrists and other eye care professionals. She also oversees the NVISION Newport Beach staff to ensure the highest possible quality of care for its patients.
Dr. Chen received her D.O. degree from the University of California, Berkeley and her BS in Biochemistry from the University of California, San Diego. She has participated in several clinical studies and is currently a subclinical investigator of an FDA clinical trial to reduce or even eliminate the need for reading glasses. She has more than 10 years of experience and has been with NVISION Newport Beach since 2006.
