Your LASIK Consultation
The goal of your LASIK consultation is two-fold: first, our team will discuss the surgery and what it accomplishes in detail and give you the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Second, we will determine whether you are a suitable candidate for LASIK. This depends on several things, including an eye examination (in which we use sophisticated diagnostic equipment to verify the degree of vision correction you need) and a conversation with our doctors, in which you will be asked about your medical history, any previous eye surgeries and any uncontrolled eye conditions (e.g., glaucoma). After our surgeons have established that you are a good candidate for LASIK, you can schedule your surgery and talk to our team about financing, preparing for surgery and other related details.
