Eye Center of Orange County is now NVISION Eye Center of Orange County.

Founded in 2001, NVISION Laguna Hills is led by Jonathan Pirnazar, M.D., who also serves as the center’s medical director.  He has performed more than 20,000 refractive and cataract surgeries.  He is supported by Rebecca Ng, O.D., Audrey Schwarzbein, M.D., and Satvinder Gujral, M.D.  In 2006, NVISION Laguna Hills acquired The Eye Center of Orange County, which was founded in 1970.

Today, NVISION Laguna Hills is a full-service eye care center, offering complete laser vision correction surgery options, including LASIK, cataract surgery, and intraocular lens (IOL) surgery.  NVISION Laguna Hills also offers optometric services, including family practice and eye exams, contacts, glasses, and more and select dermatological services, including skin and anti-aging treatments.

NVISION is one of the very few eye care centers in So Cal to offer Cataract Surgery with the most recent technology LenSX from Alcon.

Dr. Jonathan Pirnazar

• More than 14 years as a board-certified ophthalmologist • Has performed more than 20,000 refractive and cataract surgeries • Specialties include LASIK, premium multifocal intraocular lens implants, and implantable contact lens surgeries • Involved in pharmaceutical studies and clinical trials in the treatment of ophthalmic diseases • Received his M.D. with Honors from the University of Illinois, Chicago School of Medicine • Completed his residency at the prestigious Washington University in St. Louis • Served as chief director of University Eye Service at Washington University in St. Louis • Completed fellowship training in corneal and refractive surgery at the University of California, Irvine • Served as an assistant professor at the University of California, Irvine • Has published articles in respected medical journals, including the American Journal of Ophthalmology and Ophthalmology Times
