Junior Graphic Designer/Production Artist

NVISION Laser Eye Centers is looking to fill a Junior Graphic Designer/Production Artist position in Southern CA. The right candidate will have a positive attitude and be part of a fast-paced in-house design department, working closely with the Creative Director. You must be able to follow directions, be highly organized and detail driven, communicate clearly, and effectively multi-task the day-to-day tasks.

Required Qualifications:

College grad with BA degree [focus on graphics & design].
Minimum 2+ years experience in design agency or in-house design department.
Proficient in industry standard software:
• MAC OS-X
• Windows capable
• Adobe CS 5 — Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, Acrobat
• MS Office – Word, Excel, Powerpoint
• Video Editing
• Dreamweaver

Must understand Image resolutions, PDF/X print standards and ICC Profiles.
Intuitive visual skills with strong typography/font selection, sense of color, layout & basic design principles.
Strong work ethic
Ability to communicate clearly verbally and in writing, take direction well and willing to learn.
Primary Responsibilities:
Source stock imagery and research for new designs based on supplied requirements.
Photo retouching
Assist with execution of landing pages, banner campaigns and eblasts
Create design files per specification of each unique deliverable using best-practice graphic standards.
Prepare and transmit final files for production.
Additional Considerations:

• Understanding of capabilities and restrictions in the online realm [HTML, JavaScript].
• Experience designing for web materials – promo banners, ads, e-blasts, etc.
• Experience developing new design ideas within established branding standards.
• Experience with video editing.
• Experience leveraging technology via iPads and cloud-based resources.
• Experience working with Social sites such as Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter

REFRACTIVE/ CATARACT SURGEON

AFFILIATE AREA MANAGER (SALES)

This position is primarily responsible for promoting NVISION’s services to a network of eye care providers and their staff members.  They will act as a liaison between the doctor’s practice and NVISION, and develop and expand relationships with the doc tors and staff.   This position is also responsible for growing the business in a defined geographic area with an identified target list of accounts.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Helps develop individual accounts.
• Ensures that accounts send NVISION all of their patients that can benefit from the services company provides.
•  Maintains a monthly call cycle and creates business plans for each account.
• Hosts and measures the effectiveness of educational seminars and consultation programs and coordinates marketing activities for the doctor’s staff and their patients.
•  Responsible for sales performance and customer  relations.
•  Uses corporate tools and applications to document, plan, monitor, and meet sales objectives within client organizations.
• Develops and maintains strong working relationships with customer service and lab personnel to ensure successful customer relations.
• Achieves established sales goals consistently.
• Communicates on an ongoing basis with Vice President of Sales Regarding personal growth, sales results, and plans of action.
• Uses knowledge gained through organizational meetings, ride-alongs, and call-ins to grow accounts and develop professional skills.

Ophthalmic Biller

3 – 5 years medical billing experience is mandatory for this position.  Background in Ophthalmology is required.  Experience billing for an office and facility is preferable.  The candidates for this position must be able to complete the following:

• Post charges, reviewing unusual dx code and cross-checking proc. With dx code
• Organize and bill electronic Medicare claims
• Organize and bill EDI insurance claims
• Bill Medicare secondary insurance
• Experience working with Commercial payors/healthplans is preferred
• Analyze Medicare and EDI reports next day for claims corrections
• Re-bill rejected insurance claims PRN
• Bill special needs insurance claims: sx needing op reports, autho copies, etc.
• Go to bank for deposits
• Keep staff & physicians informed re: changes in insurance provisions
• Data entry correction
• Collections
• Effective communication with patients
• Effective communication with staff at other NVISION locations
• Communicate any office procedural needs to Office Manager
• Other duties as assigned/required
