Call Center Lead Development Representative

NVISION is a premier eye surgery services company and one of the world’s largest providers of laser vision correction procedures. We have the following opportunity at our Newport Beach, CA Call Center. This call center is a small, blended environment call center with a focus on positive customer experience and results. We offer a fun and productive environment.

You will be responsible for directly engaging NVISION customers with pleasant, professional, timely communication through a variety of channels to ensure the consistent provision of world-class customer service and developing leads into customers. Duties include: outbound calling to patients for the purpose of generating prospective patients and researching and resolving issues to ensure patient retention and satisfaction. This position may be asked to assist covering multiple inbound phone lines to ensure customers calls answered in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

  • Must have a minimum of post secondary education or relevant work experience
  • Work experience of 2 to 4 years in a sales, customer service or call center environment
  • Must have experience explaining benefits, services and value added propositions clearly in a remote environment (telephone calls) to prospective clients, patients and/or customers
  • Must have excellent written and verbal presentation
  • Possess a positive approach to selling services and/or medical procedures to patients or customers
  • Experience in a medical sales environment a plus
  • Inside Sales experience and lead development a plus
  • The successful candidate should possess the ability to adapt easily in a dynamic work environment, which requires the ability to find solutions quickly for the purpose of making or retaining a sale
  • Must be able to accept counsel and provide feedback
  • Candidates should have knowledge of Microsoft Office, internet, knowledge of medical practice management software a plus

Per Diem Surgical Nurse
Needed Laguna Hills, CA

Position Summary

This position will play a crucial role in the surgical experience of our patients from their arrival through their recover period. This role will not only address any medical needs the patient has but also provide a warm friendly demeanor and reassurance.

Essential Functions (including but not limited to):

  • Circulating Opthalmic, Plastics, and Podiatry Patients.
  • PACU- patient recovery.
  • PO-preparing patient for surgery .
  • Knowledge of Pre Surgical Assessment.
  • Proper charting and documentation.

Technician Newport Beach, CA

Position Summary

This position is primarily responsible for assisting in surgical procedures, obtaining patient history, preliminary screening and work up, diagnostic testing, patient education, patient follow ups, and updating and inputting outcome analysis data.

Essential Functions (including but not limited to):

  • Possess excellent communication skills to gain trust and make patients comfortable through the consulting, surgical and pre/post-operative stages
  • Performs deft in auto refractions, topographical mapping, wavefront analysis, lensometer, pachymeter and visual acuities.
  • Evaluates and measures pupil size and responses, general use of a slit lamp microscope, applanation tonometer and proper instillation of eye drops.
  • Understands each procedure done at location and able to explain risks, benefits and alternatives.
  • Identifies commonly used eye drops, their strengths, purpose and usual dosage.
  • Knows general medical abbreviations and proper charting protocol.
  • Understands all equipment and instruments used in surgery including being certified on all lasers and other devices.

Patient Counselor
Newport Beach, CA

Position Summary

This position will provide our patients with a seamless experience during their initial consultation and subsequent office visits. The Patient Counselor will engage the patient and ask consultative questions while completing the initial work up and testing. The Patient Counselor will also complete the consultation and schedule surgery.

Essential Functions (including but not limited to):

  • Ensure the patient is taken back in a timely manner
  • Complete medical history and initial examination including refraction, visual acuity, applanation, and corneal topography.
  • Complete consultation and schedule surgery after examination
  • Review consent forms, pre/post instructions including drop regime
  • Explain benefits of post ops kits
  • Return patient phone calls in a timely manner
  • Communicate effectively with affiliates regarding the medical plan of their patients
  • Obtain any prior approvals or authorizations needed from insurance companies
  • Ensure patients have a clear understanding of the process and have all their questions answered and exceed patient expectations during every visit

Patient Experience Counselor
Newport Beach, CA

Position Summary

This position will be to provide patients with an exceptional experience on their surgery day. This is an exciting day for our patients and we want to create a welcoming and calming environment, while we educate them on what will be occurring.

Essential Functions (including but not limited to):

  • Provide patients with exceptional care while at the office for a visit.
  • Ensure that the office flow is running as expected and assisting where needed.
  • Possess excellent communication skills to gain trust and make patients comfortable through the surgical and pre/post-operative stages.
  • Follow up phone calls to surgery patients after their surgery
  • Explain the process to family members as surgery occurs.
  • Answer general patient questions/ return patient phone calls and emails

Ophthalmic Biller

3 – 5 years medical billing experience is mandatory for this position. Background in Ophthalmology with experience billing for professional charges and knowledge of NextGen system required. The candidates for this position must be able to complete the following:

  • Review charges, review unusual dx codes and cross-checking procedures with dx codes
  • Organize and bill electronic Medicare claims
  • Organize and bill electronic and paper claims for insurances
  • Bill Medicare secondary insurance
  • Experience working with Commercial payors/healthplans is preferred
  • Analyze Medicare and EDI reports next day for claims corrections
  • Re-bill rejected insurance claims
  • Data entry correction
  • Collections for AR
  • Effective communication with patients
  • Effective communication with staff at other NVISION locations
  • Other duties as assigned/required

Medical Coordinator
Newport Beach, CA

Position Summary

This position will be responsible for the coordination of all medical surgical procedures. This position will be the main point of contact with our Ambulatory Surgery Center. The Medical Coordinator will assist the patients through the process from initial consultation to the completion of the surgery.

  • Scheduling of patients for medical procedures/surgeries.
  • Provide patients with pre op counseling.
  • Audit all surgery charts.
  • Act as the main point of contact with our Ambulatory Surgery Center.
  • Verify all insurances and obtain authorization prior to surgery date.
  • Communicate consistently with OD’s co-managing patients.
  • Ensure all patient questions are answered and patients have a seamless surgical experience.
  • In addition, Medical Coordinator will function as a team with the rest of the office and assist with LASIK scheduling, front desk, admin responsibilities.
